I got this as the deal of the day, so the price was even better. I LOVE the cute blue design on the front and back of the machine, as well as the blue cover and side of the Cricut. It is much cuter than the boring, gray one I saw at Wal-Mart. I was even more excited when I saw that the YourStory matched–something that I care about, anyway. I’m not a scrapbooker, so I don’t know what they can do for that, but I am a high school teacher, and I’ve used it for visuals and for decorating my room. I haven’t used the YourStory yet, but I probably won’t use the binding element too much. I’ll mostly use the lamination aspect of it, but the replacements are pretty expensive. I just figured if you’re going to pay $300+ for the Cricut, might as well get something else too.
If I could change something about this bundle it would definitely be the cartridges that come with it. Only one of them (Storybook) is a font set, and it doesn’t have lowercase letters, which is kind of annoying. The accent essentials has a lot of frilly stuff, but I probably won’t use it much at all for my classroom purposes. It looks like it’s more for making birthday cards and such. The Storybook font is nice, but it has a very “Western” feel to it. If the cartridges were cheaper (MUCH cheaper), it wouldn’t really matter, but they are too much money to buy just because I want a different font.

I purchased this bundle when it was the Deal of the Day. Great price!
I was especially interested in the Cricut Expression at a great price. This bundle threw in the Your Story product as a bonus.
The Expression is fantastic, the unique blue color and beautiful scrollwork design on the front and back are a treat. It comes with two useful cartridges, different from the standard offering of Expression by itself. The machine is simple to use after a short learning curve. I’m thrilled to get started on bigger projects now that I’ve figured it out.
I’d never heard of the Your Story machine before. Now that I own it, I’m not all that excited by it just yet. It laminates and binds books. As far as I can tell, you can only bind books within the covers provided by Provocraft. The covers themselves aren’t very pretty or of great quality. The lamination aspect of the machine will prove to be the most useful for me.

I am reviewing the Expression because I haven’t even opened the yourstory yet. This was an awesome deal when it was deal of the day and it’s still a good deal now. It’s like getting the yourstory free and this set is so pretty. I know that pretty doesn’t matter to most, so I’ll get on to the important things.
This is a very nice machine and can cut 12×12(the mat it comes with)or 12×24, which is large enough for anything I need to make. I love that it has the flip feature on the machine. The personal electronic cutter does not. This is useful if you need to flip your words, when making stencils, etc. This one comes with the Accent Essentials and Storybook Cartridges, which I prefer over the ones the regular expression comes with. The Storybook Cartridge is one of the more popular cartridges anyway. So, I think that this is the best deal on the Expression that you can find anywhere, so get it before it’s gone. Now I will tell you the one thing I noticed that I didn’t like. The blade housing is plastic. I know that the personal electronic cutter had a metal blade housing and I think the standard expression has metal, so I guess that was a corner that they cut when offering the machine at the discounted price. It’s no big deal because the metal housing can be purchased fairly cheap, but I wanted to let everyone else know about it. I still would have purchased this bundle either way=)
I also wanted to mention that I purchased the Sure Cuts Alot program to use with this machine. It allows you to use ANY image that you can find on the internet. The program costs just a little more than one cartridge and the possibilities are limitless. I hope this helps=)
